Corinth Animal Hospital Veterinarians
Dr. Karen Zenker graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Her undergraduate work was completed at North Texas University.
Her special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine, especially as it pertains to senior pets. She also has extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine.
She lives outside of Gainesville with her family, three dogs, two cats, five miniature donkeys, two guinea pigs and various foster animals.
Dr. King graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974.
He founded practices in Coppell and Valley Ranch before teaming with Dr. Zenker in Corinth. He also serves on the Board of Directors that leads North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic and Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic, respectively.
Special interests include surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine.
His leisure time is spent at his Angus cattle ranch and working with his bird dogs.
Dr. Tracy Crawford graduated with honors from Texas A&M University
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1991. She continued her education at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine earning her doctorate in 1995. After completing an Internal Medicine internship in Ft. Worth, she has practiced small animal medicine in the DFW metroplex. Soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, feline medicine, dermatology, and senior pet care are just some of her special interests. Dr. Crawford and her husband have 3 great children, 2 sweet dogs, and 2 mischievous cats. In her free time, Dr. Crawford enjoys playing the piano, fitness and traveling.

Jamey – Practice Manager/Technician – Jamey went to college for Animal Business and interned at a large animal veterinary practice afterward. She started her career with Corinth Animal Hospital as a kennel technician in August 2009. She then became a technician and finally the practice manager in 2015. She also worked for an animal emergency clinic from 2011-2014. She loves educating clients and serving their four legged kiddos.
She spends every moment of free time with her husband, their daughter Abbi, and their four dogs, Tiernan, Baby, Akira, Dakota, and cat, Ziva.
Vanessa – Lead Technician/Receptionist – Vanessa has worked in the veterinary industry since 2006. She has worked in hospitals that cared for exotic and feral animals as well as with rescue organizations. She started working at Corinth Animal Hospital in April 2013 and became lead technician in 2015. She enjoys working with both clients and their fur babies gaining trust with both.
When she is not working, she spends all her free time with her son Ayden and her three dogs Buttercup, Chocolate, and Sassy.
Jamie – Receptionist – Jamie has been a veterinary receptionist since 1999. She started working at Corinth Animal Hospital in June 2014. Her passion is getting to know our clients and building relationships with them. She takes pride in caring for both clients and their pets, helping everyone to feel at home when they come in.
When not at work, she spends her free time with her daughter Kendall, dog Mellie, and two cats Gus and Baby Cat.
Trixie – Certified Technician – Trixie has been with Corinth Animal Hospital since January 2015 and also works at the Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic. She likes caring for hospitalized patients and utilizing her ER skills. She also enjoys learning new techniques in veterinary medicine and interacting with clients.
Trixie and her husband are from Switzerland where she first pursued her veterinary medical career. They love taking their fur-baby Luigi to the dog park when they have free time.
Isabelle – Technician/Reception – Isabelle started working at Corinth Animal Hospital through a high school internship program in October 2015. She has since graduated and is attending Texas A & M working toward a degree in veterinary medicine. She works here when school is out and continues to grow in knowledge, technique and is a great asset to us.
Her four legged kiddos, Blair and Chuck keep her busy in between her study time.
Jessica – Technician Assistant/Reception – Jessica is one of the newest members of our team she started February of 2017. She started in the veterinary world in May of 2016 as reception. She is super excited to be in technician training and is full of questions and a desire to learn.
Jessica and her husband enjoy the outdoors. Fishing, riding horses, camping, kayaking, they do it all with their three babies from, No Bully Left Behind Rescue. Diesel, Dozer, and Daisy.
Doreen – Lead Kennel Technician – Doreen is an awesome member of our team. She just joined us in January of 2017, but she has become irreplaceable already. She takes special care of all our patients in the hospital giving them walks, love, and always makes sure they have a nice comfy place to lay while staying with us. She also stays on top of the cleanliness around the clinic and makes sure everything always smells wonderful.
She and her husband have lived in the Corinth area for quite some time. She is a retired special needs teacher. Doreen has the cutest little capuchin monkey named Jingles. Wow she is cute!
Rene – Receptionist/Technician – Rene started with Corinth Animal Hospital in December of 2010. She mostly works in reception, but loves dabbling on the technical side from time to time. Rene used to work full time until 2013. Now she helps out on Saturdays and the occasional weekdays when someone needs a day off.
She and her husband to be spend most of their time with their adorable daughter Aubrey, and all there many different animal small and large on their farm.
Sarah – Technician – Sarah started as a kennel technician in June 2012 and is now a receptionist/technician. She recently graduated with a master’s degree in biology. She loves working with dogs, cats, and wildlife. She enjoys the family-like atmosphere between the staff and clients at Corinth Animal Hospital.
Sarah loves her heeler, Capone, and her kitty, Dinah. In her spare time she enjoys doing wildlife rehabilitation.
